Virtual Fighter 5: Final Showdown for the PS3 is free, but unfortunately only for Playstation Plus subscribers. You can check if you are a Playstation Plus subscriber (or PS+) if you have a yellow + symbol beside your avatar on your main PS3 XMB(Xross Media Bar), usually on the upper right beside the time. If you are not a member of PS+ though, you can buy it for $14.99.

About the game’s features, expect over-the-top hand-to-hand combat with a balanced damage system. A pretty neat feature present in this installment is the new moves of the characters whenever their enemies have their back on the wall. Expect an immerse and the detailed character customization system which is important if you want to use the online multiplayer that Sega (the game’s developer) promises to have little to no latency.

A cool new character, named Jean Kujo, was added to this game. You can see his fighting style (rumors to be self-taught karate) in the video.
