VIPRE internet security installation error

Hello,

I am using Windows 7 and have recently installed VIPRE internet security 2013. During the installation, I received the error “VIPRE installation cannot continue”. I uninstalled the program but still have the same problem. The following error is given below.

 

Error:16999: The following

Antivirus is installed and might

conflict: Malewarebytes Anti-

Malware version 1.65.0.1400:

Please uninstall before continuing.

Please help me to resolve this error. Thanks.

VIPRE internet security installation error

Hi Jose F Cumpton,

Honestly, you cannot do 2 antivirus or antimalwares at the same time, your computer will be confused on who's right between them, uninstall the Malwarebytes first if you want to change your anti virus or anti malwares. Imagine this quotation: You cannot serve 2 masters at the same time. It is also applicable to your computer's anti virus or malwares
