Hi,

To get rid of the error follow the suggestion message of the setup wizard, due to some error the setup wizard ended too early, click finished and re-install the program. Re-setup using the recommended settings and the same installer and follow the setup wizard window until the installation complete. After the installation restart your system to make it effectively.

Best regards,

Heather Marie

If you want to install Comodo Internet Security, first, make sure your computer meets the requirements. The latest version at the moment supports Windows XP (32-bit only), Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10 both 32-bit and 64-bit. It requires 152 MB RAM and 400 MB free space. If you verify your computer meets the requirements, restart your computer and install it again.

See if it works. If the same error was caught, try running the installer using the “Run as” option. Right-click the installer and select “Run as administrator.” This should give setup full administrative privileges during the installation. See if this works. If this doesn’t work, download the latest Comodo Internet Security and install it. If the problem continues, try updating Windows Installer.

If you have Windows XP, download Windows XP Service Pack 3. This is the latest and last Service Pack update for Microsoft Windows XP. If you have Windows Vista, download Windows Vista Service Pack 2. This is the latest and last Service Pack update for Microsoft Windows Vista. If you have Windows 7, download Windows 7 Service Pack 1.

This is the latest and only Service Pack update for Microsoft Windows 7. Updating the Service Pack of your operating system will also update Windows Installer. After this, try installing Comodo Internet Security again and see if it works.
