I have a few files on a floppy disk. I know that this is a very dated means of storage. Can anyone help me to find a way to access floppy disk? Also I heard that floppy disk can be deteriorated by moisture. Is that true. I know this is quite difficult but can anyone tell me how to fix it?

To access floppy disks or to extract the data from it you have to spend a few bucks.

There are a number of plenty of external floppy disk drive which you can buy from any online store. Do not forget to check its reviews before purchasing it. You just have to connect the USB port and you should be able to access it.

Or else you have to use a company providing data transfer services.

There are a few chances that moisture may deteriorate your floppy disk. To keep it working it should be dry.

If in case it’s jacket gets wet, then you can reuse it just by drying it off. But if the liquid gets inside it, dry it off and after this there are less chances of working it. If at all it works take the data from it and discard it.
