User accounts problem, how will remove it from a computer?

I set a username and password to protect my computer from other users in our office but one day I didn't know that I will got sick and so I don't go to office. My officemate called me to ask some files from me and it all saved in my computer that has username and password. She asked me what is the username and password of my computer to be able to open and get the files that she needs. But unfortunately I forgot what I put in there because I was sick and I forgot to note it down and post it to my computer. How will I remove it?

• I don't know which windows you use . If it is windows xp then it is more likely easy to solve this issue. In the window where the username and password is required you press 'Ctrl+Alt+Del' , there will be a username and password field . write there –
• username : administrator
• password : administrator
• Hit enter. this would solve your problem . This will not work if there were password during the setup process of windows xp.
• If this process never works you might use the windows live cd  to solve this issue . That is little tricky. first you try this method . then you could let me know  wither it works or not.

How to remove Windows User Account Password?

Hi,

You can use the administrator account, if you know the log in password or if you are allowed to use it, you can also ask your IT department to use the administrator account in your PC to change your local user password.

But if you don’t have an IT department in your office and you don’t know also the administrator account password, then use a password recovery tools (here in techyv, we do not suggest using of any illegal tools).
