Hello,

I had a notification about java updates availability and I hit the update. However when the update was complete and I restarted the pc it is not working properly. It is getting frozen in regular interval. I have tried to find the solution on internet, however it did not seem to work. Please help me finding the solution.

There may be many reasons for a system to stop responding or getting freezes, apart what you have mentioned in your question about JAVA UPDATES:

These 5 Problems are at the top to Freezing or Hanging a System.

1. Corrupted Windows Registry,

2. Old or damaged Drivers,

3. Any Malware or Virus attacked your System,

4. File System got error on HDD,

5. Bad location also Freezes the System.

After checking above five problem you must check your RAM too…

If all above mentioned are not issue for your System for freezing then there might be chances the file you are downloading a corrupted. Try to change location and get download from other web site.

Java update has made your computer freezing.PC freezing is frustrating. Some causes are:corruption may occurred on registry key, virus, corrupted files etc.It may be happened that Java updates was not downloaded completely or there may have corrupted files.

And again updated java may require more virtual memory.Your pc can be frozen too for low RAM or virtual memory.Programs require virtual memory to run well. And that is why you should not run multiple programs at a time.Again my suggestion to you that uninstall some programs that are not important. You may run some programs or games without installing.

Your computer may get slow or hanged for more files in C drives. So please do not store any files in C drives.Be careful do not delete program files from C drives. Then try to check your all files and folders and delete the unnecessary files.Scan your computer and delete the virus attacked files or programs. All this action may help you without adding additional RAM.And again if you have not reinstalled your operating system for long time then please reinstall it.
