Hello Experts,

After doing some upgrade of my old openoffice.org to openoffice.org2 in my Ubuntu 7.04 and restart the gnome-panel I get error message. I’ve reinstalled openoffice.org2-common & openoffice.org2-gnome, but the problem continues.

Any help would be much appreciated. More power to Techyv Experts!

Hello Lukeen,

Maybe there was a problem that occurred when you were updating from the old openooffice.org to the latest one. It could be a problem like important components of the program being left out when you upgraded and from the error message we can see it is a component that is required so that images can be loaded.

You may need to redo the upgrade again, and in case it does not work I will suggest that you just get the installation setup for the new open office version that you want to upgrade to and then install it manually instead of doing the upgrade.

Hope this helps.
