I moved my Wubi to other partition. After that my LibreOffice 3.3 received a Fatal Error and stopped functioning with the following error:

The Application cannot be started. [Context="user'] caught unexpected exception!

I tried so much to find solutions but I always failed.

Does anyone here know how to fix this?

Unfortunately, that is a bug and you will need to fix it so that the application can be able to work. Use the following workaround to fix the problem.

  • You will need to rename the profile to …user.old. The problem may be that profile does not exist in the location identified, and there you will need to identify it as follows:
  • Go to Tools, and then choose Options. You will then open OpenOffice.org, and then choose Paths.
  • You will need to uninstall OpenOffice, and then search for the string OpenOffice.org throughout the "C:" drive.
  • In case you cannot be able to find it there, then the error may have been removed.
