With the Mac version I am facing the similar error. What are the causes of this issue and what steps I should follow to fix these?

An unexpected error occurred. Camtasia is terminating.’

Hello Thomas,

The error you mentioned here is very generic error message, with this message it is hard to get to the root of the problem. What you can do is :

1. Updating it to a new version.

2. If the issue coming because of a new update then roll back the update.

3. Re-Install the application.

Hi,

This error is definitely common occurs by everyone but there is a solid solution for this problem. Probably, there may be some conflicting problems between your system using software. 

I suggest you that first, you check the compatibility of this software with system' specs because most of the problems occur du to this common mistake. If you are unable to resolve the problem and have confirmed the compatibility then you can solve this problem by downloading the software from trusted website.
