Unable to activate the Microsoft Office

Hello Experts,

Everything went good without any problem, the download and the installation was perfect without throwing any error. However, when I try to activate the Office I ended up with an error message. I have a doubt with the registry key whether it is right. How do I check it? Is the antivirus protection is preventing me to activate the new software? Please help.

Unable to activate the Microsoft Office

Your problem is easy to fix. Microsoft has built a small tool to fix this issue. Download this Microsoft Fix It, run it and your problem will be solved.

If you don’t want to use this technique or fix manually, do the following:

1. Start Command Prompt with administrator privilege.
2. Copy and paste the following command and hit Enter:
   reg add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCURRENTCONTROLSETCONTROLCLASS{4D36E967-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} /v UPPERFILTERS /t REG_MULTI_SZ /d PartMgr /f
3. Exit Command Prompt.
