Unable to Access Google Account in Outlook

I am obtaining error while trying to access my Google account in MS Outlook for two days now. Any ideas why this happening? For the past few days, I cannot use my Gmail account in Outlook or send and receive messages.

I looked and re-checked the configurations and it looks like an issue with Google.

Is there anybody has a similar issue like this?

Unable to Access Google Account in Outlook

Howdy Dilton,

I got the same problem before which I cannot send mail from Gmail outlook.

I suggest you to go to your email account and then follow the instructions below:

• Go to tools > Account
• Go to Properties
• Make sure that the server says Incoming mail POP3 > pop.gmail.com
  Outgoing mail SMTP > smtp.gmail.com
• Make sure that your server  port numbers was put properly
• For example, your outgoing port should be 15 and incoming port is 445

This solution works for me.

Unable to Access Google Account in Outlook

Hi,

You have to enable the 2 step verification feature otherwise It’s failed to receive any emails in outlook. Main thing is you have to make an application specific password.

Then go to account setting in the outlook.

Go to your mail account through a web browser and log in your mail account completely.

After you have to unlock the captcha in the settings.

Hope this will solve your problem.
