Error updating Firefox 5.0.5 to 5.1

I am working with Firefox 5.0.5 with my Windows 7 PC and it runs without issues. But when I update it to 5.1, it constantly failed. I can open the site but it is not working. It could not reload any website and just stopped working. I removed the entire Firefox set up that is already installed in my computer and start installing a fresh copy of it but with the same Firefox 5.1 version and yet the problem is still incurs.

So I downloaded a more updated version but the same thing happened.

What should I do next?

I am completely lost.

Error updating Firefox 5.0.5 to 5.1

That means that  your computer cannot be able to work well with the Firefox 5.1 version that you just installed as you can see from how it is constantly malfunctioning, and therefore you will need to stick to the version that works best on your computer which is Firefox version 5.0.5.

When it comes to installing applications on your computer, you need to consider if those applications meet the system specifications of the computer, and in this case it seems like Firefox does not. Or may be you could try installing windows updates and see if after that the updated version of Firefox works well.

I have read your issue concerning the Firefox updates. Did you check the condition of your computer for the update on Firefox function from 5.0.5 to 5.1?

The reason behind the errors you encountered every time to upgrade it to a higher version of Firefox must be your PC.

First option for you is to check if your computer can go well with the Firefox 5.1 application. There are specifications that you need to consider every update.

After checking this option if it doesn’t meet the qualifications of your computer for the latest updates you can still continue using the previous Firefox.
