I have a desktop Acer Aspire 3100-M GB7Z which repeats the Windows startup, but returns at the same point. In short, it closes and reopens at infinity without any operation. I do not know if I explained well enough. If you want, will give you details ….

Trouble in Windows startup – Acer Aspire M3100 GB7Z

Acer Aspire is compatible with Windows Vista. These are the specs of your desktop.

The windows startup repeats and returns to the same point. Restart again, hold down F8 during the start procedure and choose "Last Known Good Configuration that works".

It also sounds like that you have a desktop heating problem, or a faulty stick RAM, or a loose connection to a failing motherboard. The easiest way now is to diagnose your PC, pull everything out of the case and build the computer again. In this matter, you will retrieve and know what is the part that needs to be replaced.

Ask for a computer technician's comments about it, if you know how to install a new copy of Windows Vista then it maybe the best idea for you.
