Transfer pictures from iPad to desktop

I have some pictures on my iPad which I would like to transfer to my computer. Its running Windows 8 and I cant understand how to go about doing so. Please will anyone guide me?

Transfer pictures from iPad to desktop

Hi Cunningham,
The photos can be transfered from iPad to the desktop by using the following steps:
1) Download the dropbox app from the Apple official website
2) Install the dropbox application on your iPad
3) Create an account of dropbox on the computer and install the dropbox on the system
4) Open the dropbox app on the iPad, Go to 'Uploads', choose 'left up', select 'camera roll'
5) Choose 'create folder', select all the photos to be transferred
6) After the photos are uploaded, find the folder with photos in the dropbox program
7) Copy them to the folder of the computer
