I have been using a pen drive 8 GB Transcend.
Recently I formatted it.
Now its showing used space 0 GB and free space 0 GB. What could be the problem?
Is formatting so many times creates any problem with data storage devices?

The running program of your pen drive may be corrupted or there may be a technical problem with the pen drive. Once again format the pen drive. Scan it successfully with an update version of Antivirus before formatting. The Antivirus currently available with your PC may not be strong enough to scan it successfully.
So collect an update version of Antivirus. Now format the pen drive. You can take help to format the pen drive from another PC and open it. Go to Properties. If it shows the same fault again contact a good technician. Formatting so many times is not responsible for this issue.
