I can move single folders from one location to another. Is it possible to move multiple folders using the same method?

Hi Sheenah

It is possible and very easy. Moving multiple folders is same as moving single folders, though it will take longer to complete. You just have to select the folders you want to copy by holding on Ctrl key and clicking on the folders, or press Ctrl + A to select all the folders in the main folder. Then you right click on them and Send to My Documents or a removable media or you can simply copy it and paste it in a location you want. You can select cut instead of copy to remove the original folders after copying.

Moving multiple folders from one directory is very much possible.

When you are in a directory, press CTRL then click on each folder you’d like to move. Right click on one of them, then choose Cut. Go to the destination directory and then right click on a space, then choose Paste. This will create copies of the folders then create the original ones effectively moving the folders.

You can also use CTRL + A when you’re in a folder. This will select all the contents in a directory. Right click on one of them the Cut and Paste it to the destination directory.

You can also have two Windows opened, one would be the source then the other would be the destination. Press CTRL then click on each folder you’d like to move, then drag one of them to the other window. This will move each of the folders if both folders are in the same partition/drive. It will create copies of the directories instead if the destination is on a different partition/drive.

Yes, you can move multiple folders from one place to another.

You can select more than one folder by Ctrl + Click or click and dragging one or more items.
When you select more than one folder, you can see ‘move the selected items’  text link. In the file and folder task click on this link, you can see the move item's dialog box select the location where you want to move, if you want to move sub folders, please click on + sign. If you want to move into New folder click on make a New folder, Then click on move your folders will move to the selected location.
