Inaccessible files dvdrw disk – any way to access them?

Hey everyone,

I have inaccessible files dvdrw disk. The disk has a few video files on it but when I open it, will just load for a long time and then give me the error message of "drag to disc. Read failure while accessing the media". The disk has no visible scratches or marks. Could it be a problem with one of the files that is causing the problem?

Hi Robert,

Your concern about not able to access files from your DVD-RW disc depends on how you are going to isolate the issue. You have to insert your DVD-RW disc into another computer besides from the one that you used where you got the error message. If you managed to access your files using another computer, there is something wrong with the DVD-ROM in your computer. If you still cannot access those files using a different computer, the files could be corrupted inside your DVD-RW disc.
