To turn on the firewall of your windows, you have to follow  the following steps:

1. Click on the start menu => Control Panel. On the Control Panel click on Security and then click on Firewall.

2. On the firewall option click on firewall on or off option. If required you should enter the administrator password.

3. Click on ok.
