There is external DVD-ROM player and external HARD DRIVE. But is there such a thing as EXTERNAL FLOPPY DRIVE? I only have a laptop and I got a floppy disk that I need to open.

    Yes my friend, there is an external floppy drive. Although the fact that floppy drives are somehow phased out of the market, or are still gone in the market, there are still external optical drives such as an external floppy drive. I mean a lot of external drives with such huge varying capacities are now in the market. I suggest you directly transfer those file of yours to a more secure media like a CD, a USB, or something.
