When I was using logitech software to set it on macbook pro that button that I pressed was not working. I know that this button works like menu button. I need it to work like apple remote on harmony remote vlc. Is there any way to get it? please help me anyone.

In your question, you mentioned that you were unable to click on something. Please provide a screenshot of that button, so that we can understand the issue.
It could be an issue requiring some kind of an update. Have you tried updating Java for your mac ! If not, check here https://support.apple.com/downloads/Java_for_Mac_OS_X_10_5_Update_4
You may also try this:

1. Click on Finder
2. Left pane > select Applications > Utilities.
3. Select Java
4. Open Java Preferences
5. Select J2SE 5.0Â
6. Under Java Application Runtime Settings, ensure J2SE 5.0 is at the top.
7. Click save. Launch software again.
