A theme rain effect on firefox webpage. I installed a rain effect theme for my Firefox internet browser but after restarting the computer with Windows Xp operating system. The theme did not take effect, what should I do for the theme to take effect in my browser?

First, I suggest you to update your Firefox to latest version.
Follow this link and select the appropriate version of Firefox : http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox/all/
Then, follow this link to select the desire rain effect theme : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox/search/?q=rain&cat=themes

Hi Debra, thank you for sending this question in.
After doing a bit of research, I found this: http://www.spuler.us/themes/rain/ . It stated in that website which versions of Firefox is that theme compatible with. I would like you to check your Firefox's version and see if that is compatible with the said theme. Once that's done and you're sure that it is indeed compatible with your browser, try and disable all extension within the browser, relaunch Firefox and if the theme works, you can re-enable all extensions once again.

You wrote that you have installed rain effect theme to your firefox browser. Generally when a new theme is being installed it automatically says restart your browser to activate theme. It doesn’t asks you to restart pc as you did. You can do one thing. If the theme is installed properly you can go to firefox menu where you can find add-ons option. Go to add-ons you will find four options. Appearance is one of them. You can find your installed themes there. You can select and use any of them.
