Heya, the 8024402c error code occurs if any of the applications running on the computer are restriction the Windows Update Services from working. Turn off all the applications running at the time of update. Turn them back on after the updates have been installed.
If it doesn’t work then try to disable your security temporarily (Windows logo+ Q -> Settings ->Action center->Chevron-> turn off antivirus.)
