Are Google Docs and MS Office compatible with each other? How can I open a Google Docs file with MS Word? Is there any particular formatting to be done for these two softwares to work together? Thank you.

Sync Google Docs and MS Office applications.

Hi,

Google documents and MS Words are compatible with each other. You need not to run any other program when you have installed MS Office Program required version.

Sometimes Google software is also helpful for your running MS Office program. Different types of formatting of documents are also available there. When you download a document it automatically makes it compatible with your running MS Office program.

If it is not so, you can use Open With option from the opening window. However, you will not face any problem to open Google documents with the current MS Office program. You need not to use any other program.
