Symantec Backup software fails to complete installation process

Hello,

I was installing the Symantec Backup software on my computer and the installation process went okay until some point when an error popped up as shown in the image below. Any suggestions?

Error 1704. An installation for Microsoft SQL Sever 2005 Express Edition is currently suspended. You must undo the changes made by the installation to continue. Do you want to undo those changes?

Symantec Backup software fails to complete installation process

 Looking into your issue. It seems that Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express is corrupted. Unless you have not restarted your system when prompted while installing the Symantec Backup.

Firstly, you should try reinstalling the Symantec Backup Exec software, while rebooting whenever prompted. If this does not solve your issue, try re-installing the SQL Server 2005. Before uninstalling SQL server, create a duplicate database to keep backup of your database. You can see the attached file for more detail.
