To determine if you have a Click-to-Run installation of Microsoft Office:

Option I: In Microsoft Outlook

In your Microsoft Excel, Word, or Outlook 2013 or 2016 application select File, then Office Account then select About Outlook select (in Microsoft Outlook 2010 choose File, and then select Help)

On the right side of the screen, locate About Microsoft.

If the installed release of the Office product is a Click-to-Run edition, the text will include Click-to-Run.

Option II: In Control Panel

On the keyboard press Windows+R keys.

Type control panel.

Click OK.

Select Programs and Features.

Select Microsoft Office.

Right-click Microsoft Office, and then click on Change.

If it shows “How would you like to repair your Office programs?” and has two options to do Quick Repair or Online Repair, then it is the Click-to-Run version.
