Hi! Today I was trying to connect my PC to the VPN. I was continuously facing this ‘connection error 800.’ This error never appeared before while connecting my PC to the VPN, and that’s why I’m unable to figure out the reason for the occurrence of it. How can I fix it?

Steps To Fix ‘connection Error 800

This ‘connection error 800’ error indicates that, when you are trying to create a new connection to the VPN, the message is unable to reach the server. It can occur because of:

• The client device has lost the connection to the local network.
• An invalid name or address is inputted.
• The VPN traffic is blocked by a network firewall.

To fix it, the first thing you should do is to check the network connection between the client and the server. Make sure that the connection is proper between them. Next thing to do is to check the correct VPN server name and address. You have to input both correctly. Now, check whether your firewall is blocking the VPN connection. You have to disable the firewall and try to connect your PC to the VPN.
