To convert scsi to ide, follow steps given below-

  1. You need to find the data store path where the virtual machine resides
  2. Open the primary disk i.e. .vmdk
  3. Locate ddb.adaptertype=”lsilogic”
  4. Instead of lsilogic type ide
  5. Save the file and then in the client go to edit settings and remove ide disk
  6. Then add disk again by finding it’s location and adding it

Following the steps listed above you can change scsi to ide.
