Socket Error 11004 Windows Live Mail

I have used Windows live mail a lot. It works fine, but sometimes it simply crashes in between and throws the socket error 11004 windows live mail. How am I supposed to remove this error and make it normally work like it used to?

Socket Error 11004 Windows Live Mail

First things first, this error can occur due to corrupt, or incomplete installation of Windows Live Mail. This error can occur during program installation and even when the program is running.

The last resort is to re-install a clean version of Windows Live Mail. But before doing this, run a complete scan of your system in order to confirm that the system is not infected with a virus or malware. Try repairing the registers associated with the error.

Make sure that your Windows is updated otherwise install the latest Windows updates from Microsoft. If all this does not work, then go ahead and re-install a new and clean version of Windows Live Mail.
