Hello Guys. My O.S is Ubuntu 11.10. And in my computer I have lots of Avi audio files. Yesterday I tried to change and set it to SMplayer as my default player. But an error appeared. I can’t set my default player to SM Player. What do I need to do for this error?

Hello there,I guess I know what your problem is here.I had the same kind of problem in my Windows XP system.I know how depressing and agonizing it is to know that you cannot play the audio file after you click it.So anyway,I would suggest you get your self a licensed anti-virus software which you think is good and scan your whole system. If that does not help, try rebooting the whole system and again reinstalling Ubuntu.Work out other things in between. But unfortunately if the problem still persists,I will say you get yourself a new copy of the sm player, because the one you are using might be corrupted or pirated. In that case you will have no luck until you get a another copy of the sm player.Good luck.

Hi,

First thing must do is try to check your application if its suitable to your machine or operating system and then try to check the software of there is an corrupted files from the application then after search or look other new software that can suitable to your machine and then maybe try to upgrade the software or download the new release version of the software if it’s possible and then just simply try this one just try to install a new player then uninstall the old just only an opinion and then try to restart your after installing the software to your machine then just simply scan the system if there infected files or application to your computer.
