I have a problem with downloading Adobe Reader. Download starts but then it stops with error "download configuration failed". I am using Firefox. I have tried a few versions but none of them worked.

Does someone has an idea what is a problem? Should I try other web browsers?

Use Google chrome to find the best version of adobe reader and it's complete installation instruction. Before, downloading the software reads first the licensed agreement and its system requirements.

But the adobe reader 10.1.2 version supports all the system for reader10.x. Every version has its own feature but the requirements may change its release notes. Like for Adobe Reader version 10.1.2 it has a regular quarterly update provides for security and features.

It seems that your PC clock is out of sync.

Try to synchronize your clock and try downloading Adobe Reader again.

And also, from which site did you try to download the program?

You can download it directly from here.

And also, ensure that you do not have an existing version of Adobe Reader installed on your computer.

If you are unsure, search for it and then remove it and start the installation again.
