Can anyone help me with skype video calling? I have recently got on skype as I have many relatives abroad and using skype to video chat helps to lower down the cost. Recently, I heard that skype was updated to support video-conferencing with many users. Can anybody help me on achieving that? Is it a paid service?

Thank you for your concern. Yes. You can do video conference anyone else on Skype, anywhere in the world & it is free service. Skype allows you to connect with up to 10 people including you in a video conference. With audio group calls, there can be 25 participants and none need to have a paid account.  For video group calls, the limit is 10 and one participant must have a Premium subscription.

Setting up a video conference on Skype is easy. If you already have Skype on your computer, launch Skype then log in to your account. From your contacts list, click “Add a Contact” located on the upper right corner of the contacts list. Next, enter the Skype username of your friend whom you want to chat with and then click “Video Call” to start a video call.

Once your video call with your friend started, click on the plus sign (+) then click “Add people to this call” to add more contacts to your video conference. Skype video conferencing supports up to 25 people. That is 24 other people plus you. Skype group calls or video conference is free. To download the latest, go to Skype for Windows.

The latest version supports Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8.x. and Windows 10.
