Hi experts,
I faced no problem using Skype for a long time smoothly until I received the error message
The exception unknown software exception (0xc0000409) occurred in the application at location 0x0fae5639.
Actually I had nothing to do and Skype crashed. I tried to uninstall it but received so many error messages.
Without Skype I cannot go a single day.
Anyone have any idea about this?

Hi Clara,
Due to some unexpected file corruptions there can be such issues. If you are running large number of software in same time, there can be issue with shared memory access. You said that Skype smoothly runs for long time.  So please try to uninstall the software and restart the machine. Then download a latest version and install it on your machine. Please follow instructions below before install it again.
Open program files folder. Search for Skype folder and delete it. Folder path like C:Program FilesSkype Then open your OS root folder. Then Open Users folder. Then open your user folder. In that folder there is a folder named AppData, inside that folder there is a folder named Roaming. In the Roaming folder you can see another two folders named Skype and SkypePm folder that contain some files related to the Skype Installation. So delete those folders also. After deleting all these folders install the Skype. Then you will be able to use the software without that issue.
