How can i configure windows 7 to share files to a specific user on the same network such that others cannot access the files, copy the files or even better they cannot even see my machine on the network. Is there any software i can use or any advanced settings i can do

There are many ways to share files to a specific person on windows 7. You can go for any possible way from the below options.
Option 1:
You can share the files on windows 7 using LAN or wireless network. Before starting the procedure make sure following things.
1. All the systems should be connected in the same network.
2. The network is set to be “Home group”. (if you want to share the files with specific people) or It has to be set to be “Workgroup” (If you want to share the files with all the people who are connected in the network)
3. Once you set it to “Home group”, Right click on file you want to share and then click on share with
4. Under share with, It will ask you group with which you need to share the files. Choose Home group and share the files.
Option 2:
You can share the files on windows 7 using Online tools. There are many online tools used for sharing folder/files between numbers of users at a time. The online tools such as “Google Drive” or “Drop box”. Download the windows version of drive or drop box and install it on your windows 7. You can use it for sharing the files with any specific person provide all the people must have working mail id. You can use these tools online also without downloading on your system. You will be able to use these tools online from any device and from any place provided that the device has Internet connection. For Google drive you should have Gmail id and also the person with whom you are going to share the files should have Gmail id.
