This error appears when a user that initiated the installation of the Oracle 9i or 10G did not have correct permissions to complete the installation successfully.

To resolve this issue, you will perform these steps:

  1. Navigate to Oracleora92 or Oracle10g Home directory.
  2. Right click the Home directory and select Properties.
  3. Select the Security tab.
  4. Ensure the ReqPro User is listed and has the following permissions: “Read and Execute” and “Read”.
  5. Select Advanced and check the: Replace permission entries on all child objects with entries shown here that apply to child objects, option.
  6. Click OK in the Advanced Security Settings dialog box.
  7. Click OK in the Properties dialog box.
  8. Restarted RequisiteWeb server.
  9. When you have these steps done, the issue will now be fixed.
