I am having a problem sending emails using any of the email clients that I have like Thunderbird v3, Incredimail and Windows Live 2011. Attached is the screenshot of the error I receive.

Any solution you can suggest would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Sending message error due to SMTP server 127.0.0.1 failure

It seems that all of your email clients are all using the same wrong SMTP server address. The IP address 127.0.0.1 is not a Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) address. It is the loopback Internet Protocol (IP) address and also referred to as the localhost. An SMTP server address is assigned and given to you by your own Internet Service Provider (ISP).

The reason for having that error when you are sending any email messages is that all of your email clients are configured to use the wrong SMTP address. Maybe you accidentally changed this setting or maybe an update in your system may have changed their configurations. Since you are using different email clients for sending your email messages, I’m sure you have your own SMTP address that came from your ISP. You just need to re-configure again all of your email clients to use the correct SMTP address and then do a test after if it’s successful or not.
