I bought a new Bose Companion 20. For few days I was able to use it fine. Since the quality of the sound and its design is really true. After few days I can hear something like “scratches” while listening to my laptop and the speaker. I haven’t installed any new devices and software are all the same. I thinking what could be causing this issue? Can you tell me way to resolve this? Please help me eliminate this problem.

Thank you!

Actually, it can be some sound coming from your system like one of the itunes's sonds which is made occasionally. If it is so, you no need to worry, since this is not such a serious issue.

Yet, if you are sure it is not such a noise, it can also be coming from the speakers, due to the absence of magnetic shielding,  as a result of the phone or such other device being interfering with the speakers. As a solution for this issue, you can shift to newer speakers with the magnetic shielding feature or else keep the devices that can cause an electro magnetic interference, quite away from the the speakers.

Best Regards!
