Hello experts,

Recently, I am having issues on my Samsung Galaxy SII. I am being notified with error "Charging Paused, Voltage Too High". I tried to reset my phone to its original settings but to no avail. I'm not sure where the problem occurs and why is it happening. Can someone please help me?

It could be your charger; have you tried using other charger? If yes, and still got the same result then try using another battery. But if it's still the same, I suggest you bring the phone to the store where you bought it and have it checked. Once they found out that your unit is defected then they would have it replaced if it's still under warranty.

The problem is created by the ICS. This problem is faced by most of the users but they are not prompted each time. The issue is with the micro USB slot. As it is open to air and gathers dust particles easily. When the charger is plugged in it tries to prevent the short circuit so it prompts and stops charging. All you have to do is to clean the USB Slot with a small piece o paper. This will solve your problem.
