Hi guys,

This is all about recovering a composed message. While writing a message for a business client using my yahoo mail account, I accidentally close the Mozilla Firefox internet browser. Would I can still be able to recover those composed message? Where can I find it? It is hard for me to remember and write it all back again.

Expecting some help, thank you.

Hello there!

You said that you are using Yahoo Mail right?

As far as I know Yahoo Mail now have this Auto-Saving Feature in case of lost in power or internet connection. If you have typed your message long enough for yahoo to auto save them then there is a chance that you could recover it!

Yahoo automatically saves recovered messaged in your "Drafts", to check

  • Log in your Yahoo Mail account
  • Hover your mouse cursor to the Folders menu and click on Drafts.
  • You will find there your composed message if Yahoo auto-saved them
  • Continue working with your E-mail and hit Send.

Hope this helps!

Yes, there should be no problem recovering your composed message. Every email service provider like Yahoo! automatically creates a backup copy of your message when composing it. You can always find the backup copy in the “Drafts” folder in your email account. You can only recover part of the message when it was last saved.

If it is not yet complete, you can recover up to the last part of your composition when it was last saved. Open your web browser and go to Yahoo! then log in to your account. If you are already logged in, click “Mail” on the home page to access your messages. On the next screen, click “Drafts” on the left pane to access your draft messages.

Try locating your unfinished email message by opening one of the draft messages in the folder. Once you found it, continue composing it then send it when you are finished.
