1. First, reinstall the operating system on the failed DC.
2. Then, on a working DC, seize the FSMO roles which are held by the failed DC.
3. After that, on a properly working DC, perform a cleanup of metadata to remove the DC failed from Active Directory.
4. Optionally, join the re-installed server to the domain.
5. Then, promote your server to be present as an additional DC in the whole domain.
6. Now, wait for the initial SYSVOL and AD replication to complete.
