Hi, I had been going through the features of Windows 2012. I found a feature called Windows 2012 r2 direct access. What is the purpose of this feature?
Direct Access is a Microsoft feature that was implemented in Windows 2008. Traditionally, VPNs required human intervention to start a connection to an intranet, but Windows 2012 r2 direct access allows to access intranet without establishing this human-initiated connection. With this feature, client computers are always connected to the intranet, and the admins can access network computers as and when required.
