To purchase paid avast password 2011 or go with free?

Hello!

I am searching for a better anti – virus software for my laptop then I found avast. I wonder what are the risks that I will face if ever I go with the free avast password 2011. I found that there are some features to which pro or paid version can only give but the thing is, is it worth for that features to pay more than 30$ a year?

hello there buddy. my suggestion to you if you want to use avast, of course the paid program is much better than a trial one. cause in the registered version all of the option and features is available. and has more capabilities than the trial version. but if you want other option i think you can try using microsoft security essential its free of use and its very good in protecting your computer.

Hello Patricia,

With any antivirus, usually the full version of it offers more protection to your PC as compared to the free version, and therefore it will be up to you to decide if you want maximum protection for your PC or limited protection.

The free version may not offer you some crucial functionality, but if you are a basic user then getting the paid full version may be useless because you might end up not using some features at all. For instance, if all you want to be using the antivirus is scanning your computer as well as links you access on the internet, and generally keeping the computer safe, then those are features you get can get from the free version.
