Its occur frequently, when working into office 2007. Any help would be appreciated.

Error:Invalid pointer.

The Com error code 0x80004003

Such kind of Error occurs Because of external Source of Data convert column replacing a new Column. In suggestion I would like to say that you should refreshing Data Reader Source element and you have to adjust column mapping. Because of various types of value expectation ignoring providing value .replace [ ] around bbar option. You should use ADO.NET derives for connecting AS400.

The Com error code 0x80004003

Hello Mahbub,

The fix for the error that you're getting was released sometime back in a cumulative update of office 2007, therefore to resolve the issue that you're getting you will need to do the following:

• On your computer click start, and then locate the control panel and click on it.
• In the control panel window, click on System Security.
• Next you will need to click on Windows Update, and then choose "Check for Updates".
• You must have internet access on your computer to allow it to go online to look for updates and then install them.

After the update process is through, you shouldn't get that error.
