Problem with G15 and G35 gaming software installation on computer

Hello experts,

My Operating System is windows 7 64bit. I have a G15 and G35. When I try to install v88.01(lgs801_x64.exe) of LGS I find a runtime error message when the program starts.

I have reinstalled it again and again but get the same results.

Either it doesn't start (but gives a tray icon) or I find the following runtime error.

Please help,thanks.

Problem with G15 and G35 gaming software installation on computer

Generally, this driver for Logitech M-U0029 Gaming Mouse G300 does not have any supporting information regarding any system specifications it may require. The driver for this device, lgs801_x64.exe, is really intended to be used on Windows 7 64-bit edition. So, I’m pretty sure that your system does not have any incompatibility problem regarding this driver’s version. If you have already installed its driver, try uninstalling it again.

Then restart your computer. After Windows has booted, check your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. It is possible that there is an error in the hard drive’s file system that is causing this problem to the driver. For a much thorough diagnostics on the system, use a disk utility application like Norton SystemWorks or PC Tools Performance Toolkit. After checking the hard drive, connect first the Logitech M-U0029 Gaming Mouse G300 to your computer then proceed with the installation. Maybe the device needs to be detected during the installation and will cause a different behavior in the application if the device is not connected during the installation.
