I have downloaded the program 'NookStudy' and installed it on my PC.
I tried running the application, but I suddenly got an error saying it encountered a problem and needs to close.

Problem Encountered While Installing NookStudy Program
I’m not sure if this is an incompatibility issue between the application and your computer. By just checking on the image you posted, I assume that you are using Windows Vista. Correct me if I’m wrong but I usually got confused between Windows Vista and Windows 7 by their appearance. I’m really stuck with Windows XP forever and I’m pretty much happy with it. But anyway, by checking the program’s specifications, your operating system is pretty much within the scope of its supported platforms. Which means your operating system is compatible with the software. NOOK Study works with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6, and Mac OS X Lion 10.7.
Since the problem you encounter is not related to incompatibility issue, try doing a clean installation of the program to fix any corrupted files that may have developed in the long run. Uninstall NOOK Study then restart your computer when asked. After booting, check your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. For a much thorough diagnostics test on your computer, use a disk utility application like PC Tools Performance Toolkit. Install the program again then check if this fixes the problem.
