Problem with driver for sound card

Mainboard: GA-K8NE-RH
Processor: AMD Sempron 2800 + 1.61Ghz
RAM: 2GB DDR1 400Mhz 2×1
Graphic Card: ATI RAEDON HD 4350 1GB DDR2
HDD: 320GB
Power: 350W
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x86

The problem is that there is no sound. I recently downloaded latest drivers but  as you can see in the picture below, the icon for sound is not covered with "X", which means that my audio devices are fine, drivers installed. if you know what could be a problem please help me. Thank You

Problem with driver for sound card

The most common reason for loss of sound is that the cable connecting your speakers to your computer has come loose and is not properly connected. Make sure that all cables are properly connected so that there will be no problems like this. Another reason could be that the cable itself has become damaged and doesn't work anymore. To test if this is the case try to switch your cable with another cable that you know is working. After swapping the cable check to see if your problem has been resolved.

Also what could be the case is that the speaker itself is damaged therefore causing your loss of sound. To test this, simply plug your speaker into another computer system or any mp3 player. If there is no sound then you know it is the speakers that are causing your problem.

Another reason however hardly unlikely would be that your loss of sound could be due to a virus that has infected your system. Make sure to thoroughly scan your computer for any malicious or harmful programs. if all else fails you will have to let your computer be checked by a computer technician as the loss of sound may be due to hardware malfunction.

Problem with driver for sound card

It could be that there is a virus so try to scan your pc first or probably the speaker itself is damaged.

Problem with driver for sound card

First of all u go to the option "Add/ remove programs" if there is shown program is installed. Then ck the hardware, go to device manager and update serial port of loud speaker.
