Problem to boot the computer

Hi,

I have a problem in the boot of the computer during operation of the BIOS. Here is the display:

Press DEL to run setup

Press F8 for BBS POPUP

1 AMD Morth Bridge, Rev E6

Initializing USB Controllers ..Done.

2048MB OK (Installed Memory Size: 2048MB)

And then the PC is locked. Just as I press the reset button for the PC boots normally from the sequence without blocking.

On the other hand this phenomenon is not systematic but is rather annoying.

I reversed the memory modules to no avail.

My motherboard is an ASUS A8V-VM SE with Athlon 64 3700 +

Problem to boot the computer

This problem is usually associated with the motherboard. And a motherboard is not repairable. I also encountered a quite similar problem with the computer I once fixed. The problem was that the computer can not boot and they see an error on the screen.

When I checked the motherboard I found what is causing the error and it’s the RAM memory. When the RAM memory card replacement arrived I installed it and the computer is back to normal.

But the odd thing I noticed while I’m checking the CPU is that it responds very long. I spend my time checking every setting in the BIOS and every time I save the current configuration, it responds very long.

I thought the motherboard got locked up after saving because it didn’t respond immediately like what other computers do. But here, it took about 30 seconds before the system starts rebooting again.

This is only a sign that the board is already beginning to fail. Consider replacing the motherboard. There is no problem with the BIOS’ setting. It’s the onboard chips that are beginning to have problems.

This concern is generally for this motherboard. And a motherboard is not repairable. I also found a rather equivalent trouble with all the laptop or computer I as soon as repaired.
