Hello.  I am using Mac OSX version 10.5.

I recently installed a Media Player from Adobe.

The problem is that whenever I run the application, it does not do so.

I already tried to re-install the product but the result is the same.

How can I solve this problem?

Hi Paul_Kelsey

To solve your problem regarding the failure of working the Adobe Media Player on your Mac OSX version 5, you have to try doing the following:

  • You must manually delete all the folder supporting the Adobe Media Player( utilities, the framework, installer etc.)
  • Your system should have no trace of Adobe Media Player and available for the installation process again.
  • You must open the terminal and enter the command, touchairinstall.log and run the Adobe Media Player installer again.
  • After the installation, you have to make another administrative account
  • Open the User permission and configure it to allow Adobe Media Player run in the new account you have created.

Hope this might help you.

Thanks.
