Will the original iPad be able to get the iOS 6 features?
I heard the original iPad won't be supported by iOS 6. Why can't it be? Is it because iOS 6 has a different operating system?

Hello Brandycarrie. From the looks of it there is no word leading up to if the original iPad will be supported by iOS 6. Apple is known for this action of stopping its support system after only a few years. Hopefully the developers will discussion the possible of support system of the original iPad at the WWDC 2012.
It really makes you wonder what were they thinking because the original iPad had been features than the iPhone 3GS and Apple decided to keep the iPhone 3GS, but it is too early to have the final word we all will have to wait and see what Apple decides.
Gen 1 iPads get ditched simply because they aren't sold by Apple anymore. iPhone 3GS has slower chip and same amount of ram but is still supported on iOS 6 because it is still sold by regional/prepaid companies. No one sells the original iPad anymore so SOL. All applications on our iPad will become useless as the applications upgrade to iOS 6 and force you to be on iOS 6 to use the applications.
