I continuously received the error below after performing Adobe Premiere Pro update. I am running OS X Mountain Lion with Premier Pro CS6. I searched for some help and they said, it is a permission issue. However, I cannot find any solutions that works for me. I can't convert any audio or open any project. Can someone please help? Thanks.

I think this is just the usual unexpected error that happens sometimes when updating or upgrading something on the computer. With your operating system, Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, there should be no problem using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. Officially, the application Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 requires Mac OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard, 10.7 Lion, 10.8 Mountain Lion, and 10.9 Mavericks.

If you updated your operating system before the error appeared, try reinstalling Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. If this doesn’t work, uninstall it again and clean up temporary files and system logs. To clean your hard drive and remove temporary files and or system logs, visit Running Mac OS X Maintenance Scripts. Once your computer is cleaned, install Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 again.

After that, update your operating system. Click on the Apple menu and select Software Update. In case you are prompted, enter your admin username and password. On the next screen, install all available updates and then restart your computer to finish the update. When you are prompted again, enter you administrator username and password.

Sometimes when problems happen, you need to be more patient to make the program work again.
