I have opened my computer today but it is taking so long to do it. An error appears after a minute that says, "Missing C:Usersfaithappdataroamingnewnext.menengine.dll". I don't know how to fix this. Can someone help me? I'm running Windows 7 by the way.

How to Fix Missing Nengine.dll Error?

As far as I know, nengine.dll is a type of malware. If you have a System Restore Point, try to run it to restore your computer from the last time it is working without issues. If there is no defined System Restore Point, run your antivirus software. If you already did this step, there is a good chance that your antivirus software have deleted the file already. However, there are traces on the registry that still exists. To resolve this matter, download and install Malwarebytes:

Download and install Malwarebytes

Run it afterwards and ensure that it will pick the nengine.dll file. Remove the files associated to it and restart your computer. For alternative resolution, open your Command Prompt and run SFC /SCANNOW to resolve the system file issues. Or you can try taking the entries out on your Startup programs. Nengine.dll is most probably from your recent security software that you uninstalled. So there must be some traces in the Startup Entry. You can also use Autoruns for Windows to see which programs are running on system bootup.
